Heidi Catherine is a published author. She also uses the pen name of H.C. Michaels to write domestic suspense novels. Under her main name, she mainly writes dystopian and fantasy novels.

These give her the chance to get into different worlds from those she is living herself in the suburbs. She sometimes enjoys killing off her characters, particularly if they are the awful ones. Even though she admits this to be the case, Heidi promises others that in real life she is far more well behaved.

Heidi loves to read and write. She also likes watching a lot of reality television programming, using the excuse that it is naturally research done for her books.

Her debut fictional novel was titled The Soulweaver. It was the winner of the Emerald Pro Award from the RWA. She has since written different series, including The Kingdoms of Evernow. This was a finalist to receive the ARRA and RONE Awards.

She also writers dystopian novels for young adults along with Tamar Sloan, a fellow best-selling authors. Their series together have been best-sellers and extend to The Sovereign Code, Elemental Games, and The Thaw Chronicles.

Heidi was also picked as a highly commended author in The Hope Prize. After this, Simon & Schuster published her story “The Extra Piece” as part of a story collection all about disadvantage in the community. She has been a four-time finalist in the Little Gems short story competition held by RWA.

Heidi Catherine is married and shares two sons with her husband as well as two dogs. They all live together in Melbourne, Australia. Heidi is sometimes distracted by all the fictional worlds that live inside of her head.

As much as she likes this new guy, she finds herself unable to let herself emotionally detach from Matthew.

Dealing with a broken heart, Lin has to figure out whether she will be able to stay with Reinier or if she should look for Matthew and try to reclaim their love. She has no idea that the decision that she will make will end up having other effects and have an effect on many more people other than just herself. She wants more than anything to show him how he can embrace the world that they live in. She’s making progress and his heart is opening up, but even as this happens, a force far stronger than them could be the thing to pull them apart for good.

Together the two of them go to the heart of the ocean to go see the Truthseeker. The old woman is able to look into the mysterious reasons behind why they are so connected. She also gives them a warning, saying that they should stay as far away from the other as they are able to.

The only problem with this is that the characters are finding it very difficult to stay away from each other because they’ve fallen for each other. They have found the one person in the world that is able to bring their soul to life.

Distantly, two sisters born into poverty find that their strength together may be the way that they are able to survive.
