Hot SEALS is an interesting book series written by Cat Johnson, who is a USA Today and New York Times female best-selling author of contemporary romance novels. The interesting book series consists of about six book titles that have been published between July 2014 and September 2015. Hot SEALS is a captivating story about special DEVGRU operatives who, after being hardened by combat and having their fair share working for their country decide to form a special security company by the name “Guardian Angel Protection Services (GAPS).”

The story keenly follows the lives of Jon Rudnick, Zane Alexander, Thom Grande, Rick Mann, and Brody Cassidy among others who are former Navy SEAL teammates and very good friends. They battle against various enemy threats that happen to face them or their loved ones in order to protect themselves and the women they love. With each book is an interesting standalone romance story about one of the Navy SEALS and each of the characters are featured in each story ensuring that the reader understands them fully.

Alison Cressly

Alison Cressly happens to be Darci, Rick’s sister’s friend. She is a daring and passionate lady who knows what she wants. She may also be described as reckless when she agrees to have a one-night sexual experience with Jon but truth be told, sometimes you have to play the hand you are dealt.

Jon Rudnick

Jon Rudnick is an active member of the Navy SEAL. He is quite patriotic as he is determined to risk life and limb while serving his country. Jon is a strong gorgeous, guy who can only be defined as an Alpha male with rather serious ambitions. Although he is a confirmed bachelor, sexy Jon soon gets his match in Alison.

Chris Cassidy

Chris Cassidy, who happens to be portrayed as a perpetual bachelor is a charming joker who is quite determined in performing his duties; He is also a member of the Navy SEALS. His protective side is shown when he is willing to kill or dies in order to protect Darci from the serious potential threat facing her. The hot, good looking, brave 40-year-old ex- seal is a partner in the newly formed GAPS security company. Chris Cassidy is also depicted as a vulnerable character, especially when it comes to Darci.

Darci Mann

Darci Mann is a sister to Rick Mann, who is a retired Navy SEAL. She is a cute, sweet young woman who also happens to be a bit clueless when it comes to the matters of the heart. The uncomplicated Darci Mann is also depicted as fragile, especially when she becomes heartbroken as a result of Zane getting into a relationship with Misty.

“Night with a SEAL”

The Night with a SEAL is an interesting story about hero Jon and his sexy heroine Alison. It is the first book in the Hot SEALS book series that happens to give an introductory glimpse into the lives of the various characters that are going to be involved throughout the story. At first we are introduced to Jon Rudnick, who has been a Navy SEAL for 10 years, making his body and soul pay a great price as a result.

Life in the Navy as its ups and downs with the fact that Jon can’t seem to have a normal lasting relationship as a great challenge. During a get together with his SEAL buddies, Jon gets to meet Alison and an immediate attraction is formed between the two. He decides to give her a ride back home and their attraction results in an unforgettable one night stand that leaves them hungry for even more.

This becomes a fantasy when Jon leaves on deployment shortly after the encounter. However, it had been clear to them both that it was not meant to last due to his uncertain lifestyle. Jon and his team later return to find out that Alison and Rick’s sister have been held hostage in the bank, they work in putting Jon in a very difficult situation. He is made to choose between respecting the wishes of his superiors whom have made it clear that he should not be involved in any way or saving Alison who he has been thinking about all through his mission.

Jon decides to team up with his SEAL buddies and together they rescue the girls and every other hostage. He decides to retire and form a security company by the name “Guardian Angel Protection Services” together with his seal mates.

“Kissed by a SEAL”

In Kissed by a SEAL, Chris Cassidy is made to choose between keeping the BRO- CODE or breaking the rules and fighting for his love no matter how wrong it may seem. Chris has been in love with Darci Mann for a long time, although she only sees him as a friend and a joker who loves to innocently flirt with him. Her sights are set on Zane, who later comes to break her heart when he gets in a romantic relationship with Misty.

One day everything changes when Darci decides to volunteer to accompany Chris to a wedding as his date for their security job. Chris hopes that his job as security personnel for a wedding at an exclusive resort in Florida is going to be an easy one but the events that follow proves him wrong. Things start taking an interesting side when Darci suddenly starts to see the romantic side of Chris Cassidy and she slowly gets smitten by him.

By realizing how different he his, Darci decides to explore the chemistry between them regardless of the fact that Chris is her brother’s friend. She also happens to realize how mistaken and blind, she was for choosing Zane over Cassidy, who was always readily available to her. Pirates later show up to disrupt the wedding, forcing Christ to jump into action in order to protect the rest of the guests and more especially the love of his life. This is an exceptional book filled with sexy action and sensual romance that is a must read for all.
