Bonnie R. Paulson is an inspirational and romance fiction novelist who loves writing sweet contemporary romances set in the Inland Northwest.

She loves writing dirt bikes, her children, and her romantic husband and has always found it easy to transition between the life of a busy mother and the stories she writes.
However, while Bonnie is now a prolific and bestselling other, she still works as a medical transcriptionist, even though she is a certified radiologic technologist.

As such, she often includes some medical elements in all of her novels and never can stay away from dirt bikes and the medical field.

When she is not playing with her children, reading, buzzing around the Rockies, or writing, she can be found experimenting in the kitchen. Much of the time she loves to use original recipes which sometimes end up in her novels.
Her idea of heaven is having a chicken parmigiana sandwich in her hand while sitting on a dirt bike.

Going back to her beginnings, Bonnie has said that as soon as she could hold a pencill she began writing. While she was in high school, she dabbled and never got serious until much later on.
She wrote poems about roses and when she was in college and high school, she started writing a bunch of stories that she never finished.

It happened that a friend who loved reading romance dared her to write one.

Once her friend dared her to start writing fiction she got serious with it and is now one of the best authors who write novels with medical elements, romantic suspense but particularly sweet contemporary romance.
Even though Bonnie has completed many manuscripts in the romantic suspense genre, she has chosen to focus on contemporary romance as it is the genre she enjoys best.

Moreover, she believes that the advice she received from numerous authors, editors, and agents over the years telling her to focus on one genre is valid as it has brought her much success.

Bonnie R. Paulson got the idea while rushing to the emergency room with her mentor who had suffered some self-inflicted gunshot wound trauma to the head.

While she was recovering in the break room of the hospital she began writing the first few pages of her novel. She completed the manuscript of her debut novel while she was in the hospital soon after delivering her fourth kid in 2010.

As soon as she was done writing it, she started sending submissions out and got some resubmits and revision requests from a few editors. While she was waiting for those results, she sent her original manuscript to her current publisher and forgot all about it.
Within six months of submitting her novel, she got a call from Angela of Carina with an offer. While she initially thought Angela James was a telemarketer, when she explained and asked if she had any questions, she felt like throwing up.

She published “Breathe Again” her debut novel in 2011 and has not stopped writing ever since. Paulson now has more than ninety works of fiction to her name that include several series, single-standing novels, and contributions to series by other novelists.
