Linda Rae Sande is a historical romance fiction novelist who is also a great lover of science and a nerd. She went to Northern Arizona University where she graduated in 1980 with a degree in Astronomy and Physics.

Before she became a popular author, she was a technical writer who specialized in animation, software, and 3D graphics workstations. She is also interested in genealogy and this resulted in a desire to pen fiction and years of research into the Regency era.
After she moved to Cody, she began writing in 2013 and published in the same year. Linda now has more than fifty titles to her name in addition to contributions to series by other authors. Many of her historical romances are set in the Regency era in addition to several in Ancient Greece.

Rae Sande is a regular attendee at book signings and events and even hosted “Wild Deadwood Reads.” Given that she is a huge fan of adventure and action movies, she can often be found at the local cinema.
She currently makes her home in Cody, Wyoming.

During the time, she worked as a technical writer, Linda Rae Sande got movie credits working on “Shrek” and “Shrek 2” under “Dreamworks/PDI.” Since she once worked with technology, working with modern publishing platforms such as Kindle seemed like a no-brainer
Once she published her debut and several others that became very popular, she was approached by several traditional publishers who wanted to work with her. She would then get several of her works published with publishers in Australia and the United Kingdom.
Nonetheless, despite working with traditional publishers across two continents, she disseminates most of her novels on her own. She has said that nearly a third of her income is derived from “Twisted Teacup Publishing,” which is a company she founded to promote and sell her fiction works.

Linda decided to establish her own company because of the cutthroat nature of modern publishing. Moreover, she publishes historical romances where fans and readers expect frequent in-person and online interactions with authors.
In this regard, she spends a lot of time organizing signings and events and maintains an active social media presence.

Now an established author, Linda Rae Sande has developed writing routines that she follows for all her work. She is more of a pantser rather than a plotter and usually does not start at the beginning or write chapters in the order in which they will be in the novel.
She will often just write whatever interests her at the moment and then stitch it all together once she is done. She usually writes her stories on an iPad with a keyboard in a downtown cantina while enjoying a drink.

Linda finds joy in knowing that she spends much of her time putting out something good that will add value to her readers. Having people love and be entertained by her novels is just a bonus.
