Lila DiPasqua is an author of steamy historical romance novels whose multiple works have been bestselling titles on many platforms.
She is an author that has self-published some of her works, even though many of her works have been released under Berkley/Penguin.

The author is best known for the “Fiery Tales” series of novels and her works have been featured in the Rhapsody and Doubleday Book Clubs.
Lila DiPasqua was inspired to pen her novels from her love of history. She particularly loves the period in which the likes of “Sleeping Beauty” and “Cinderella” were written.
She would read all manner of novels from Regency England and Seventeenth-century France with all their salaciousness, which would then inspire her steamy romances.
Her biggest inspiration was Charles Perrault the French writer and lawyer who was the first to put folklore on paper and insert morals into his stories.

The author was born in the amazing city of Toronto, in Ontario which has been called one of the most multicultural cities on the globe.

Lila DiPasqua spent her childhood in a small Toronto suburb where she lived with her younger sibling and her parents with tons of cousins, uncles, and aunts in the neighborhood.
Her father then used to work for the Toronto Transit Commission as a mechanic while her mother was a seamstress. This meant that they did not have a lot of money and in fact, most of the cars they owned were fixer-uppers.
They also never went dress shopping as her mother preferred to sew dresses for them whenever they were needed.

DiPasqua’s favorite pastime during this time was writing, reading, and cheering on the Toronto Maple Leafs, even if they had no hope of ever winning anything significant.
During this time, she used to spend a lot of time dreaming about the cute boy in the neighborhood who never seemed to notice her once. She is now glad that she met and married her own very real-life romance hero.
Lila currently makes her home in Canada where she lives with her three children and her husband.

After graduating from college, Lila DiPasqua found work as a law clerk working for a prestigious law firm specializing in litigation.

She found it a high-stress and fast-paced career as she was involved in some big cases and was even threatened with death several times.

Following the birth of her first child, she decided to quit her job to start a family but never actually embarked on her publishing journey until her youngest joined school.

With three kids all under four, there was no way she could even string a few coherent sentences together. Ultimately, she joined her local chapter of the Romance Writers of America took writing classes, and met her critique partners.
She got two offers of representation for her first manuscript. Within a few months, she sold it to Berkely. It had taken about half a dozen years from the time her kid started school to land her first publishing contract which had her over the moon.

She has now become popular for her fairy tale retellings derived from her love of passionate love stories, historical romance, and fairy tales which she then blends into steamy stories.

Lila DiPasqua’s novel “A Midnight Dance” is a work that found inspiration in the erotically charged Cinderella tale.

It is a work that is all about a dangerous deception, a glass slipper, and a beautiful poverty-stricken beauty who only thinks of finding her handsome prince and making him pay.
Sabine Laurent was born into a wealthy family and together with her twin sister, they lived a life filled with luxury. Their father ran a prestigious theater that was frequented by ar
istocracy and royalty alike.

For the longest time, Sabine dreamed of Jules de Moutier, the devastatingly handsome man that is her own prince charming. This was before her family’s fall from grace and the loss of her sister which she now blames on the Moutiers.
Following the death of Sabine’s father, she has become the heir of a significant debt and is responsible for taking care of his mistress and her two spoiled daughters.
But working with her group of eccentric friends, several members of her father’s acting troupe she intends to seduce Moutier and steal his fortune.

However, resisting the man’s tantalizing touch and skillful mouth is not going to be so easy. She will have to make a hard choice between her desire for the prince and her desire for vengeance.

“Undone” by Lila DiPasqua is a work that finds inspiration from the “Rapunzel” fairy tale. It is a work that provides an emotionally charged and steamy retelling of a classic work.
Angelica has kept herself safe by trusting no one and pretending to be a commoner. But a chance encounter with some handsome man puts her in a lot of danger.

The handsome as-hell man with polished manners and arresting blue eyes believes he has saved her from certain death, even though he had put her in great danger.
She intends to keep him at arm’s length just like she does with everyone but they cannot deny or ignore the smoldering chemistry they have.

Simon Boulenger is the commander of several pirate ships and speaks and dresses like a member of the aristocracy who has made money, even if he is not a nobleman yet or an officer in the Navy.
He dreams of elevating himself to become a respectable man in a stagnating society. Worse, he finds himself in a dangerous scheme and needs to get out but this is complicated by the fact that he is utterly intrigued by a mysterious beauty.
He can no longer afford the distraction but he also cannot resist the carnal lust she stirs in him. It is not long before she learns that she is a woman born into privilege and a passionate soul mate.

Lila DiPasqua’s novel “The Duke’s Match Girl” is a scorching new historical romance that is a retelling of “The Little Match Girl” by Hans Christian Andersen.
Suzanne Matchet and Leopold d’Ermart had been inseparable childhood friends. But one Christmas Eve, they would transform from friends to lovers.

However, since he is the heir to the Duke of Mont-Marly this is not something he was supposed to do as she is the lowly daughter of the family doctor.

Years later, Suzanne is not looking forward to spending her first Christmas following the death of her father. She has long forgotten the heartbreak caused by Leo leaving her seven years past.
The last thing she ever imagined is that Leo d’Ermart the sinfully seductive dark and tall man would walk back into her life and into her bed. Even worse, he is more devastating in stimulating her senses than before.
She is the only woman he has ever yearned for and in his heart, she is the intelligent and adorably unconventional beauty who got away. He finds Suzanne selling matchsticks and surprisingly still finds her very alluring.
Leo is determined to win her back and show her the depth of his desire by giving her a wild Christmas beyond her wildest desires.
