A.M. Strong is a bestselling author of thriller, suspense, and mystery fiction that is best known for the “Patterson Blake” series of novels.
While he was born and brought up in the United Kingdom, he would later move to the United States where he still writes his bestselling fiction.
Before he became a fiction author, he worked several odd jobs as an actor, graphic designer, artist, and newspaper writer.
As a lover of travel, he has traveled extensively across the United States and Europe and he usually weaves his experience about travel. As such, many of his novels are usually set in the many places in which he has traveled across the continents.
Strong published “Sister Where Are You,” the debut novel of the “Patterson Blake FBI Mystery” series in 2022. He currently makes his home on the space coast in Florida where he lives with Sonya his wife and Hayden and Izzie his two furry bosses.
He has also been lucky enough to purchase another vacation home on an island in Maine where he sometimes retreats to write.
He loves interacting with his readers and fans through the newsletter on his website, where he provides access to exclusive releases and free books.
Strong got interested in storytelling when he was still very young and the books he read during that period would have a huge influence on his approach and writing style.
Growing up, he read a lot of James Herbert, Guy N. Smith, and Stephen King. His more recent influences include the likes of David Baldacci the crime fiction author, Preston Child and James Rollins.
It was when he was about twelve or thirteen that he began thinking of becoming an author. His English teacher had given the class an assignment to write a descriptive essay describing a walk they took in the woods.
A.M. Strong ended up scoring an F on the assignment. But it was not because what he wrote was terrible but rather because the teacher believed he had copied it out of a book.
Things escalated and he was reported to his parents but the lesson he took from the incident was that life can be unfair but also that he could write.
A.M. Strong penned his first work of fiction when he was nineteen years old.
He still does not remember where he got the idea for the work but it was a story about zombies that invaded a small English village and killed most of the residents.
It was a terrible story and he could not go anywhere with it, but it gave him the confidence he needed to believe in himself as a capable author.
He penned the story on a green screen word processor and saved it on a floppy disk, which he believes is still at his parent’s house in England, where it will never see the light of day.
It would be many years later before he polished up his skills and became proficient enough to publish his debut fiction work.
He now works with Sonya his wife who does most of the advertising, promotions, mailing lists, and all backend work. She also doubles up as a proofreader, formatter, and designer of his book covers while he does the writing.
“Sister Where Are You” by A.M. Strong is a work that introduces Patterson Blake, an FBI Special Agent who is working on the case of the disappearance of Julie her sister. Sixteen years earlier, Julie had gone missing while she was on a cross-country trip.
She believed she had gotten over the incident but when she raids the home of a dangerous serial killer, her emotions come flooding back, threatening dire consequences.
She soon finds herself sidelined and she could lose her law enforcement job and this leaves her fearing for her future. But then she discovers disturbing and new details about the last days of her sister’s life.
Arming herself with a new resolve, Patterson makes the decision to follow in her sister’s footsteps and attempt the impossible.
Soon enough she stumbles upon a sadistic psychopath who she thinks is her suspect. The man has been kidnapping girls and abandoning them to a gruesome death while he goes out to find his prey.
It makes for an interesting mystery fiction novel that will keep readers engaged from the first page right to the last.
A.M. Strong’s novel “Is She Really Gone,” sees the search that began in the debut novel of the “Patterson Blake FBI Mystery” series continue.
She had recently found several clues about the mysterious disappearance of her sister and believes she may be in Dallas.
She has just been reinstated to her position in the FBI as Special Agent but is working with a rookie partner who she believes will just get in her way.
Her partner is a cocky former police officer who believes he does not need a babysitter. However, this is the least of her problems as she soon stumbles upon a witness that may be the key to finding her sister.
The case now takes another interesting turn when another woman disappears before she could meet with Patterson.
What is the connection between the missing woman and the case of her sister? Could someone be actively trying to stop Blake from finding out the truth about her sister’s disappearance?
The only way she can see is to locate the missing woman and she has to do it fast, even though by doing so, she may have to put herself and her law enforcement partner in a lot of danger.
It makes for a tension-filled edge-of-your-seat mystery thriller that will have its readers on the edge of their seats.
“All the Dead Girls” by A.M. Strong sees Patterson Blake the FBI Special Agent still working on the case of the mysterious disappearance of her sister Julie.
She is now armed with new information and intends to continue the search. However, new information indicates that there is a new predator out there that has been kidnapping girls riding their bikes home from school.
Soon enough, the first girl to be kidnapped turned up dead and investigators realize they may be dealing with a very deranged sociopath whose agenda remains unknown.
She is asked to stay in Dallas for several more months so that she can track down the killer before he can kill again.
