A mix of books read this month.

Reading still a bit slow due to so much time being spent working on the new site, Book Notification. We now have double the authors on there as we do on BSIO. Insane.

And of course you can track all the books you have read, follow authors and so much more. BSIO will still continue to exist for so many reasons and I am still adding hundreds of new authors per month, but I’m excited about this new venture.

Here’s what I read:

Do Not Disturb by Freida McFadden: A standalone thriller by Freida which starts at an insane speed. Not one to start late at night as you’ll be up very late! It starts with a woman having just killed her husband, only for her friend to show up at the door. Her friend is a policeman and some screams were reported.

Ward D by Freida McFadden: This was her latest one. About a medical student who has to spend the night on a psychiatric ward, and due to an electrical issue, can’t leave. Eh. Not her finest work.

The Lost Colony by Irina Shapiro: Really enjoyed this one. The story of a group of people who have to spend six months on a remote island for a reality show, surviving like the people in the 17th century did. They go to bed the first night, and wake up to discover the entire crew has gone. That was not meant to happen. Really good story, and I was very satisfied with the ending.

The Kind Worth Saving by Peter Swanson: Sequel to The Kind Worth Killing. Pretty solid book. Good early twist that had me stunned, but then the rest just kind of played out. Still a good book though. I listened to this one. Good narration.

That’s all I have read although I have started listening to What Have We Done by Alex Finlay, and started reading The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury.
