The work picks up from where the first left off. Amelia’s father had allowed her to leave following a huge disagreement.
Nonetheless despite disagreeing on the family business, she has always been protective of her. In the present, an old nemesis found out that Amelia had become one of the top police officers in LA and had now sent some people after her.
To keep her safe he had sent Luc his deputy to go bring her home. Luc had met and successfully managed to make Amelia fall in love with him only for her to get kidnapped.
He always thought of himself as the worst of the worst and feared Amelia would leave him if she found out the truth about him. Blinded by love he had gotten sloppy and gotten her taken by some unsavoury characters.
He may be the worst kind of guy and even the devil to Amelia if she knew the truth, but she will do anything to save her. He will get her back and punish the people who had taken her regardless of the price.
It makes for an intriguing mafia romance full of drama and angst.
“Mafia Love” by Khardine Gray continues to follow Luc and Amelia whose love has been growing in leaps and bounds. Their love seems to grow only stronger as they deal with people that are out to hurt them.
On his part, it is the first time Luc ever fell in love and he intends to do it right and will do anything to ensure the safety of Amelia.
She is his goddess but his love for her made him go soft but now he needs to find himself once again. His secrets and that of the mafia organization are coming out and this is no time for games but one for war.
On her part, Amelia has decided to come to terms with her family and Luc’s criminal history. She knew that there was a danger of losing her soul when she fell for Luc but love lured her to the dark side.
It makes for a sizzling mafia romance that makes for an engaging read from the first page right to the last.
