Andrea Byrd is a Christian mother and wife from rural Kentucky who has said that she has an affinity for the natural old-fashioned lifestyle. She has often said that she was born well out of her time and loves to spend time in nature and in the great outdoors.
Early on in her life, she went to college and graduated with an Equine Rehabilitation and Health degree that she never did use. Working a full-time job that tethered her to a job for most of her days, she decided that her life needed more excitement.
As a mother, she knew she needed to show her children that it was important to follow one’s dreams.

Andrea began writing her debut Christian romance novel and published “Smoky Mountain Comfort” her debut novel in 2021.

It was this novel that would spawn the “Smoky Mountain Romance” series of novels. Byrd has now has sold more than 1000 of her contemporary romance and inspirational fiction.

She has said that her motivation is to pen faith-filled romance with true history threads. Andrea has said that she writes since she was called by God to do so and to fulfill the passion and gift that God places within her.
Not only does she wish to share God’s grace and love with her readers, but she is also interested in providing an authentic experience that will take them to what she believes was a simpler time.

Andrea Byrd’s novel “Smoky Mountain Comfort” introduces Abigail a woman that had been damaged by her past and emotionally abused by her father.

She has grown untrusting of others and does not even trust herself. Her life is all about her little bookstore in which she finds comfort until books mysteriously start to go missing. Even worse is the fact that her father has announced that he will soon be visiting which makes her feel helpless in her turmoil.

Will she be able to trust Jake Callahan the unnervingly attractive police officer who is one of her most loyal customers that wants to help?

One cannot help but really feel for Abigail. She is a woman with a very huge heart and a kind soul who is forced to deal with a lot of unwanted and harsh criticism.
Reading the work, makes one want the best for her and for Jake who is just the quintessential good guy that you just want to end up together with Abigail.

It makes for a very sweet read that is very endearing in how it is written.

Andrea Byrd’s novel “Smoky Mountain Chrismas” is another beautiful inspirational story that introduces Camille.

She is a woman that had undergone a hysterectomy after years of suffering from endometriosis. Since that time she has been running away from Christmas.

It has always been known as a time of love and she does not want to risk getting into a holiday romance that has been known to happen. After all, she believes that no one would ever love her when they learn about her life.
However, she finds herself stranded when a terrible snowstorm forces her to seek refuge at the home of a very gorgeous man. The man and his eclectic family are enjoying the holiday festivities and she might just come to learn that she can be loved as she is.
It is a sweet and inspirational romance with some beautiful family interactions that are not interfering or smothering but rather loving. Byrd is an expert at penning unique personalities in the heroes and heroines and representation of faith.

“Smoky Mountain Temper” by Andrea Byrd is the story of Alec McEntire, a man jaded by his past. The last thing he needs is Lacy Callahan the hippie taking rooms at his rental apartment but then not making payments in full.
