Eugenia Riley grew up in rural South Texas as a preacher’s child, and spent much of her youth playing the piano, climbing trees, writing poetry, and reading each and every classical adventure story that she could get her hands on. As a lover of history, she lived her life inside of her own imagination.

Eugenia is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas, is a former English teacher and editor of TOUCHSTONE Literary Quarterly. She is the winner of the Holt Medallion for “Waltz in Time” for Best Book with a Southern Theme.

After college, she began writing passionate romances about spirited heroines that meet tormented heroes, and find true love and healing together. She has written for publishers including Warner, Avon, Dorchester, Harlequin, and Bantam. She’s also launched e-book imprints of her own, Eugenia Riley Originals and Eugenia Riley Classics.
