Stephen Jones

Stephen Jones is a published British author of fiction. He has won several literary awards for his work. He is an editor and an expert when it comes to dark fantasy and horror. He has published several anthologies, including the Mammoth Book of Best New Horror.

Jones resides in London on a full-time basis. He was born on November 4, 1953, in Pimlico, London. He is not only an editor for anthologies but is the author of several studies of fantasy and horror films. He also has provided an account of early publications from famed author H.P. Lovecraft.

He has also edited several books together. This includes Horror: 100 Best Books and more. Each of these volumes has a hundred essays penned by a hundred different horror writers about various horror books. IT was awarded the Bram Stoker Award from the Horror Writers of America in the category of best non-fiction.

Jones has also received a Hugo Award as well as several Bram Stoker Awards. He also received a World Fantasy Award for his book Best New Horror.

When it comes to the All Hallows Church, there has always been something that felt off about it. You can’t put your finger on it exactly to place it, but something does not feel right. This applies not to the building itself alone, which feels eerie, but the land that it stands upon.

From the very beginning of being there, they start to find a paranormal world that no one would believe. However, as they keep going deeper, they start to unearth a few of the secrets behind the building that had been designed by Thomas Moreby, who goes by the helm of Zombie King.

Beneath all of this is something so old and so scary that it is using the architect of the building as a connection to deep, unmitigated evil. After spending four days and four nights there, not everyone is going to come through it unscathed. Those that do make it through are changed forever by what they have gone through.

The Shadow Over Innsmouth was a novella published by H.P. Lovecraft for the first time in 1936. It was written five years prior to being published. But even though it was a complete and well written tale, it was rejected by every single magazine that the author submitted it to.

The story is unique for a number of reasons. But it eerily was able to describe events that happened in real life in February of 1928. This is when federal government agents raided Innsmouth, an old Massachusetts seaport. They were attempting to get rid of a race of ichthyoid creatures that had been breeding with humans for probably centuries.

The odd thing is that there was no possible way that a reclusive author like Lovecraft could have known in advance anything about a case that had been sealed to outside knowledge. The police did not want to create any sense of panic in the public. But once what happened lined up with the story, the FBI decides that they are going to look into the stories that the author has been publishing and see what else is true about these fictional tales.

The interesting aspect of this is that it soon starts to be found that what went on in Innsmouth were not unique occurrences. More than this, the monstrosities that Lovecraft had been describing so vividly in his writing were deemed to actually exist and be real– not just more monstrous works of fiction.

Now that these horrors are determined to be real, something must be done to combat them. So it is that the H.P.L. (which stands for human protection league) is set up. Their goal is to look into these invaders and fight them if necessary. There has to be some measure of control in place to deal with these cosmic horrors, and this is the answer.

For years after, the Human Protection League are the only ones that stand between people and these creatures. Their agents work day and night to try and protect the human world from what these chaotic creatures can bring. There are only a few people out there that know about The Lovecraft Squad and the fact that they even exist.
