“Stormy Montana Nights” introduces Jeanie Finley and Tyler King. After she got away from a kidnapping incident, she had hoped that the Brighter Days Rehab facility in Montana would be her safe haven.
She had been taken by heartless human traffickers that had made her strongly distrust men. Unfortunately, the rehab facility has all manner of men and particularly vets recovering from career-ending injuries.
She believes she might just be setting herself up for failure, even as she has been the victim of some bizarre accidents. Recently she has started doubting her ability to function on her own.
Tyler King is a former Army Ranger who just left the military and has been having difficulties adjusting to the civilian world.
He never believed PTSD would be an affliction but now finds himself reminded of the many horrors of the battlefield almost every day.
Thankfully, he was hired by the Brotherhood Protectors to protect a beautiful woman known for her total distrust of men and a backbone of steel. But first, he needs to earn her trust, if they are to find the source of the bizarre accidents and keep her alive.
“Sultry Seattle Night” is set half a dozen years following a wild one-night stand with J.D Wayne, a handsome SEAL.
Dr. Siobhan had quit the military and left Germany to come back to Seattle where she is raising the kid that she got from that night.
When she hears some conversation between two of her patients she has reason to be scared and on high alert for herself and her daughter.
Apparently, there is an attack being planned on the city and her first instinct is to remove her daughter and take her to a safer place and then call a good friend she met while serving in Germany.
Hank Patterson is the owner of Brotherhood Protectors, a security firm and he immediately sends some men to ensure she is safe. They are also working on preventing the attack that could end up killing hundreds.
Among the men sent is the one-night stand she had in Germany. Wayne is surprised to see her and tells her he has been working with the Brotherhood for half a decade following an injury that forced him out of the SEALs.
Soon enough, he learns that she has a daughter with blue eyes just like him. He is angry with her for not telling him that he had a daughter. But they need to set aside their differences and work together to prevent a massive attack.
Working together gives him a chance to get to know his daughter and may just rekindle their attraction.
