Jenna Wolfhart is a bestselling urban fantasy and paranormal romance author who lives vicariously through her kickass heroines. The author has a doctorate in librarianship and worked in that career for several years before she quit to become a fiction author.

Jenna published “Witch’s Curse” her debut novel in 2017 and has become one of the most prolific authors in the genre. She now has more than three dozen titles to her name spread across more than ten series.

She still cannot believe that she gets to spend her days composing all the fantastical stories that her readers love.

While it may sound cliche, Jenna Wolfhart has been reading for as long as she can remember. Thanks to her parents who used to bring her all kinds of books while she was growing up, she came to develop a love for all things storytelling.

As a child and teenager and later young adult, she got into fantasy and was a huge fan of the likes of George R.R. Martin’s “A Song of Ice and Fire,” Raymond E Feis’ “The Rift War Saga,” Philip Pullman’s “His Dark Materials” and Brandon Sanderson’s “Mistborn.”

It was after she read J.K. Rowling’s “Harry Potter” novels that she started to take writing seriously. The novels swept her up like no fiction she read before it had that she wanted to write her own fantasy fiction.

While she has always loved the “Harry Potter” novels, her biggest influence as a writer has always been George R.R. Martin. Her favorite thing about writing has to be coming up with characters and a world.

She also loves worldbuilding, brainstorming, and research. Wolfhart always has a giddy feeling when she magically connects a plot with an idea, just like when she started out.

Jenna Wolfhart is lucky that she is a professional author who gets to write anytime she wants. The author usually wakes up at 6 am, goes to the gym, and then takes a walk alongside her trusted dog.

By the time she is done with breakfast and sits down to write, it will usually be 8.30 am. She usually does much of her writing on the desk she has set up in the back garden.

It is a nice and cozy setup and she loves that she gets to have a separate space, where she can concentrate away from all the comfort in the house. She will usually work through lunch until she hits her writing goal.

Once she hits her goal, she will then do admin work, interact with fans on social media, answer emails, and do other ancillary things to do with writing. When she has some downtime, she can usually be found reading.

Jenna Wolfhart’s novel “A Dance With Darkness” is a reverse harem novel that could not be more compelling. Norah had always felt like an outsider until she turned eighteen and began experiencing some very bizarre changes.

The tips of her ears began to shift and now she cannot touch anything made of iron without feeling sick. Could she be losing her mind?

Things come to a head when she is cornered by some mysterious fae males in the street. They inform her that she is a changeling and not a human as she once believed given that she was a fae swapped at birth.

Under their infuriating but powerful guidance, she goes back to Otherworld, where she will be trained and get to know which of the many courts of the fae she best fits in. Vying of her attention are the four fae and another very dangerous character.

If she fails to uncover the fae’s secrets, all of the changelings including herself might die.

“A Song of Shadows” by Jenna Wolfhart sees Norah embarking on her new life at the Otherworld Academy. Her life at the academy quickly goes from not so normal to downright crazy in a heartbeat.

She can now tap into the powers of the fae courts, her best friend was transformed into a shapeshifter while the Autumn Court went against the changelings trying to assassinate all of them.

Moreover, her gorgeous fae instructors are making her temperatures go up and she cannot take it.

Things had for a time been crazy but had recently taken a very interesting turn. At every corner is danger as the storms grow larger and new threats close in.
She needs to learn how to harness the many powers she has to save the faerie realm and most importantly the changelings who are her brethren.

Jenna Wolfhart’s novel “A Touch of Starlight” sees Norah finally unearthing her true heritage. She has finally gone back to training at the academy as she needs to complete her studies, which would enable her to take advantage of her powers.

Her destiny is to become a powerful fae and with the best instructors working with her, they have finally managed to start healing the real following years of conflict. But then a student at the academy is murdered and soon after another.

It does seem that there is an animal-like beast that is taking out random victims. But she is convinced it must be the dark fae who are committing the killings.
