Rock F*ck Club is the first book in the Rock F*ck Club series. The book introduces Raven, a girl who has just had her heartbroken by her cheating boyfriend. On the night the couple is supposed to enjoy their first anniversary, Raven bumps into her boyfriend having sex with a groupie backstage. She tries to escape with her dignity intact, only for her boyfriend to point out how uptight she was on matters of sex. Raven calls up her friend Marsha West and, over shots of tequila, rants about her heartbreak. Marsha had warned Raven about Ivan, and so had her father and brothers, but she was so blinded by love to see his true colors.

Raven starts developing feelings for Lucky even before she can sleep with the second guy, and this only means that she doesn’t enjoy sleeping with the other guys as she thought she would. Her heart is missing in it all, but Raven does have her moments, and the sex will leave you all hot and bothered. Mankin’s writing style makes this an easy to read story. You will love the sweet and sexy hero, and it is cute how he is possessively jealous when a man gets close to the girl he cannot get off his mind.

Rock F*ck Club is a fun romance story characterized by likable characters, an intriguing storyline, and a perfect flow. The idea of road tripping to all the concerts is lovely and something any concert lover should try. Raven was a fun character, and it is admirable how she puts herself out there, even with a broken heart. Lucky was amazing, and the fun these two lovebirds share is out of this world. If you are looking for a simple romance story with lovable young characters who are not afraid to get out of their comfort zone, this book is perfect.
