“Daughter of the Gods” is a stand alone novel. Egypt during the 1400s BC. The Pharaoh’s pampered Hatshepsut, the second daughter who is both intelligent and lively, delights in racing her chariot right through the marketplace and testing her archery skills in the marshlands in the Nile. The death of her older sister, Neferubity, in a very gruesome accident arising from Hatshepsut’s games requires her to confront her guilt and then sets her on a profoundly altered course.
