Author Chris Philbrook is an avid reader, role player, gamer, miniatures game player, procrastinator, and painter. He lives in the wonderful state of New Hampshire. He owns Tier One Games, LLC, which is his game development company.

He has a degree in psychology as well as a business degree. Chris has worked in game development and editing and has written fiction for many major game design companies.

Chris writes the “Adrian’s Undead Diary” series, the “Kinless” trilogy, the “Reemergence” series, and the “Ghara Chronicles” series. His debut novel, called “Dark Recollections”, was released in the year 2013.

“Dark Recollections” is the first novel in the “Adrian’s Undead Diary” series, which was released in the year 2013. Decapitating a zombie is no easy feat in a world where you are much more afraid of the living than the dead. Adrian Ring’s simple life gets thrown into chaos as the world is torn apart by a plague of undead and the legions of desperate survivors.

Adrian retreats to the Auburn Lake Prepatory Academy, and he tries to rescue his family and friends on the way. While he dances around his impending insanity over what and who he left behind, the whole time he evades maniac survivors. He shoots his mom, but he is able to save Otis, his cat. It is pretty successful for him, everything considered.

The story is told from his perspective while he talks to his computer, whom he has affectionately named ‘Mr. Journal’. The series covers his journal entries from September 21, 2010 until December 1, 2010.

Fans of the book wound up making a strong emotional attachment to Adrian over the entire book. Readers enjoy each and every story in this for its humor, suspense, and survival knowledge. The book has a unique perspective and is able to spread its focus away from just alive versus the undead.

“Alone No More” is the second novel in the “Adrian’s Undead Diary” series, which was released in the year 2013. Finding out that you have a surviving neighbor right after the world has been overtaken by the undead is not always the best thing you might think it is. Unless of course that neighbor is the armed, grumpy, and retired Green Beret Gilbert Donohue. If that is the case, finding out you have a neighbor is much like hitting the jackpot.

Adrian’s piecemeal life on campus after “That Day” has been quite the struggle. Getting supplies from the local neighborhoods filled with members of the walking dead has been very dangerous for him, but he has survived by being just a bit smarter than the other survivors. He has also been much faster than the hungry and roaming zombies that have overtaken both his home town as well as the rest of the town.

In this one, Adrian’s life is sure to get even more complex and dangerous when some familiar faces get to ALPA with the less than friendly folks they have on their tail. The book covers journal entries from December 3, 2010 until December 27, 2010.

This book has some of the back story for Adrian that the first book did not. He is an interesting and fun character that had readers laughing out loud while reading the book. Adrian also paints an excellent picture of just how the world has changed and what he is doing to survive. These books feel totally realistic, and they make you think about what you would do to survive.

“Midnight” is the third novel in the “Adrian’s Undead Diary” series, which was released in the year 2013. Tap tap tap is the sound that the zombie made on the bridge. Things get increasingly strange for Adrian Ring, as well as much more dangerous. It was not enough for the folks of Westfield to just follow Abby and the rest of her family home on Christmas Eve and attempt to kill them. They have now come back for more.

The threats to both Adrian and his new buddies have gotten bigger than ever before. Local survivors, led by the city police chief and holed up in an empty factory, are crossing paths with the Williams clan and Adrian. At the same time, Sean, who is the bloodthirsty tyrant from Westfield, is seething for some vengeance after Adrian fended off attack after attack to take ALPA as well as everything that he has worked so very hard for.

If they are unable to get to Adrian, how long is it going to be before they start going after the ones close to him? Who is Adrian able to trust when everybody is out for themselves? Why have the dead come back and why are they killing the living? Why have the living only been dreaming of the dead? What could mankind possibly have done to deserve a fate such as this, and what kind of role does Adrian play in this great game?

“The Failed Coward” is the fourth novel in the “Adrian’s Undead Diary” series, which was released in the year 2014. A sinister darkness has finally cast its long shadow across the entire world, and Adrian starts to think that he is at the center of this maelstrom. He is not alone in this, either. His buddy Kevin, who is overseas, somehow is standing at his side.

In Auburn Lake, Adrian, along with the rest of his adopted family, finally comprehend the dreams they have been suffering since the end of the world are much more than just their own restless imaginings. A thousand mindless dead show up all holding books, could it be anything but a message beyond the grave? Soon they are going to find out that what the dead are able to say may sometimes be much worse than what the dead have done.

Adrian starts to realize the scope of humanity’s struggle and what exactly is at stake. Despite all of the dangers being posed by the world surrounding him, Adrian goes out more aggressively, the whole time reclaiming more

Hello, the last book I read with Adrian was dead cities. What book picks up where dead cities left off, with Adrian and everyone in England?
