Author Peggy Henderson never envisioned she would be a writer, or even publish a book one day. Her goal was to be a veterinarian, but it seems that life had other things in mind for her. When her husband and she chose to start a family, vet school was pretty much tossed out of the window. She once worked with a vet that had three kids while they went through vet school. This lady is her hero to this very day.

Henderson lives with her husband and two kids in southern California. They have a miniature horse and a Welsh pony. They also have two parakeets, a nutty Labrador (a food vacuum), four bearded dragons (which were the result of a compromise she made with her sons after they wanted a snake), and some chickens.

At one point, she began work on a story that was stuck in her mind for close to a year. Henderson was an avid reader of romance for a long time, and the idea took a hold on her to start penning her own. It seemed like a simple idea, at the time.

From the first sentence until the completed and polished story was a tough and long journey for her.

She writes the “Yellowstone” series, the “Teton” series, the “Second Chances” series, the “Blemished Brides” series, and the “Wilderness Brides” series. Her work is from the historical romance genre.

“Yellowstone Heart Song” is the first novel in the “Yellowstone” series, which was released in the year 2012. Aimee Donovan, an avid backpacker and nurse, is offered the chance of a lifetime. She comes across a patient that is able to send her two hundred years back in time to spend three months in the Yellowstone wilderness at the start of the mountain man era. The only thing she has to do is not tell a single person is she from the future.

How did this white woman appear all of a sudden in the remote Rocky Mountain wilderness? Trapper Daniel Osborne’s initial instinct is to keep this unconventional and mysterious lady from all the harsh realities of his mountains. As he fights the growing attraction he feels for her, he is frustrated by all of her secrecy and lies. Daniel shows Aimee parts of Yellowstone that she has never at all experienced before.

She becomes torn by her feelings for him, and exposing her secret that is going to destroy all that he holds as truth. Her three months are about over, and is faced with a dilemma. Either go back to her own time, or stay with the guy that opened up her eyes to a brand new world. The choice is made for her, and both of their lives are going to be changed forever.

“Yellowstone Redemption” is the second novel in the “Yellowstone” series, which was released in the year 2012. Chase Russell, a city boy, is well on his way to self-destruction. A star athlete, he winds up getting into trouble with booze and drugs. Fulfilling the community service sentence in Yellowstone National Park he was handed is the last thing he wants to do. After he spends a night of drinking in the park, he wakes up only to find his buddies gone, and everything around him has changed. Sarah Osborne was raised in the rugged Yellowstone wilderness. She can track and hunt with the most experienced of guys.

Some Indians leave a near-dead guy off on her door, she is not sure what to think about it. He is convinced that he comes from the future, and would like to find a way back home. Chase has got zero idea how he wound up time traveling back to the past. He is unsure of what to do when it comes to surviving without any modern conveniences. Finding food means a quick trip to the closest fast food joint, not foraging and hunting to get it.

Time and again, his will is going to be tested in order to stay alive in this yet untamed land. Is his growing love for a courageous lady who shows him what it really means to be a man strong enough to keep him in this time, or is he determined to go back to the comforts and ease of the future?

“Yellowstone Awakening” is the third novel in the “Yellowstone” series, which was released in the year 2012. A guy that is willing to risk it all, including his life and everything he has ever worked for, in order to free the lady he loves from an impossible situation.

Kyle Russell has led scouting expeditions through the Yellowstone country, worked with some prominent men, and angered more than his fair share of Indian braves. He will never duplicate his dad’s legendary accomplishments. He is captured by a group of Crow warriors. Any plans of escaping are dashed after a white woman is brought into the camp.

Kate Ellen Devereaux is currently on the run. Her guardian is dead, and is lost in the Yellowstone wilderness. An Indian war party found her, and they bring her into their camp and is thrown at a white captive’s feet. Should he have any plans for escape, she is not going to be left far behind him.

Kyle’s dad might have been a legend in the territory, but he never once had to deal with some eastern lady filled with secrets. One that disrupts the plans Kyle made to see the Yellowstone area turned into a national park. Making her see that they are destined to be with each other might be a tougher challenge than getting support for the park movement.

Kate is unable to afford showing any interest in any guy, regardless of her building attraction to her backwoods country rescuer. Is her ultimate reason for rejecting the guy spell doom of some kind for the growing love they have for each other, as well as the national park plan? Or is Kyle going to be able to figure out a way to rescue both?

   Are any of the other series tied into The Yellowstone series have time travel in them? Do you plan anymore time travel series? You are a wonderful writer of time travel series. I just couldn’t get enough of the Yellowstone series.😃
