Michael Fry is an American artist, cartoonist, screenwriter, writer, and entrepreneur in online media for several decades. He is perhaps best well known for his comic strips Pearls Before Swine (turned into a 2011 t.v. series), as well as Over the Hedge and Committed.

He is the illustrator and the author of The Odd Squad, a series of illustrated novels designed to be read by middle school aged readers. They are put out for Disney-Hyperion. There were several books in this series. He has also created four syndicated strips that run internationally on a syndicated basis.

Michael Fry is the president and co-founder of a media company called RingTales, based online. Their animated cartoons in the New Yorker are popular and ended up being nominated for a 2008 Webby Award. The company animates comics in print for digital media.

They have produced short ad-supported animations and has exclusive rights to animate comics such as Pearls Before Swine, Dilbert, and more. They have produced over one thousand entertaining animations that have collectively been viewed over two hundred and sixty million times and counting.

He has also done cartooning for The Houston Post with Scotty, a local comic strip that came out on a daily basis. You may have seen his work in publications such as Good Housekeeping and more.

Michael Fry is the co-creator and author of the Over the Hedge series. The series was produced with a collaboration with fellow artist T. Lewis. The series began for the first time in 1996 with the release of the debut cartoon book, which carries the same title.

It was nominated in 2006 for the best newspaper strip for the Reuben Awards, courtesy of the National Cartoonists Society. A sequel came out in 1997 and the third installment was released the same year. The strip is published around the world, its international syndication in 150 papers and more meaning that it gains a wide audience.

The first book was made into a full length feature film by DreamWorks Animation. The animated film was a qualified hit, and its 2006 release earned it over $336 million at the box office. The movie featured voice work by actors Steve Carell from The Office, Garry Shandling, and Bruce Willis. Michael Fry also co-wrote the Over the Hedge screenplay at Fox.

His comic Committed was also made into an animated series for prime time by Nelvana. It debuted in 2001 in Canada on CTV. It was later also aired domestically on the WE Network. The show featured the voice work of individuals such as Dave Foley, Eugene Levy, and Catherine O’Hara. The show has been aired in over thirty countries world wide, with Fry serving as executive producer for the project.

Fry lives near Austin, Texas with his wife and their dog as well as several cows. He works in Hill Country, where his studio is located. There he spends a lot of time writing and drawing, coming up with new work!

Over The Hedge is an artistic collaboration between Michael Fry and T. Lewis. Their combined artistic talents have made this children’s book a fun read that you won’t be able to put down! Whether you’re a young reader that wants something entertaining to pick up or a parent that wants to have new books to check out with their kids that are colorful and fun, check this debut out and then see the film based on this work!

Suburban living is viewed from an entirely new perspective in this skewed illustrated story from Fry and Lewis. This story is told through the point of view of all the animals that live in the area and were there first before humans decided to come in and ruin everything.

A funny and skewed take on suburban life of human beings, this comic strip is sure to warm your heart as you meet the mischievous critters that live in this area. There is a raccoon named R.J., who is constantly up to no good. Then there is his best friend Verne, who is a turtle known for being sensitive and in touch with his feelings.

The two of them are teaming up to take on the people and try to save the wooded home that they love. If they can’t succeed, they’re going to have to pack up and leave. It’s that simple. R.J. and Verne are desperate to protect their home from the intrusions of suburbia. But in the process, they may just end up getting distracted by all of the new features around them.

Wide screen televisions, discarded containers full of fast food to eat, and messing with the homeowners association are all tempting distractions for the animal friends. Can the pair stay focused, or will they get too enamored by the perks of suburban living? Pick up this book to find out!

If you loved the first book then go ahead and check out the sequel, Over the Hedge II! When we first met a raccoon and turtle in the debut work, it was tough not to fall in love. Now these creatures are back in a fun new adventure from Fry and T. Lewis.

Humans living in suburban homes seem to value their safety and security. They have no idea that a raccoon and Verne the turtle are doing everything they can to get rid of them– even if they are enjoying the perks of having humans in the neighborhood.

The animal best friends didn’t like the idea of people being around at first, but they soon started to adapt. They love hanging out in the hot tubs, eating their discarded food, or hanging out on their patio furniture. The two of them thought that they’d have to defend their turf, but the pleasure of having feasts and watching television is just proving too alluring.

R.J. and Verne are even starting to find that they’re having fun using computers. Verne even gets to email out several million copies of his recipe for potato chip and Spam pie and nearly breaks the Internet. When they steal a Harley motorcycle from their neighbor Nate, have they gone too far? Pick up a copy of this sequel and read to the end to find out!
