She sets out to get to the bottom of all these conflicting instances.

After she undertakes to repair the entire house, she discovers the body of an Amish man under the floorboards that had disappeared over forty years ago. The police conclude that her late friend Agatha is responsible for the murder something that Smith will not settle for. She looks for facts to have her friend’s name cleared from the issue, something that will take her to uncover unpleasant and sad things in the course of her associations. There is a rumor of murder, stolen diamonds between rival gangs and she gains interest on these as she later discovers that all these are connected to this mysterious murder.
While Ettie is going on with her quest for answers, she discovers a key, supposedly belonging to a safe deposit box and which she believes could be holding answers to this case. Her best shot is presenting all these facts to a detective so that they can uncover the real murderers and clear her friend’s name. Secrets cannot be hidden forever, and to sustain the secrets, the only option is to craft lies Though these to will eventually be undone.

The plot of this story is one filled with action, twists and turns that will keep you concentrated on the story through a journey of pain, discovery grief and murder all fitted together spectacularly. She has created a very intriguing mystery for this story.

Amish Murder comes next in The Ettie Amish Mysteries Series. Camille Esh, a former Amish woman, is murdered and the evidence with the police points to Jacob, who is the dead woman’s brother something that Ettie is not in agreement with as she believes he is innocent.

The community refuses to collaborate with the police as they try to unravel this mysterious murder and that’s when the detective in charge turns to Ettie. A vast proportion of the evidence including a positive DNA point that Jacob is responsible for this murder, but Ettie is not in agreement with this evidence. It is up to her to come up with the real murder and ensure that Jacob is not charged for a crime that he has not committed.

Time is moving fast, and she has to go through the list of possible suspects and ensure that Jacob is set free from this case as to her, he is innocent. Through her cause of investigation, some possible solutions to the puzzle are thrown in but turn negative making her work even harder. She is however determined to go deep to bring the truth of what happened to light. Ettie’s character is one that allows her to collect all the evidence and facts she needs to unravel this mystery.

Generally, this is one of the best mystery stories with a turn of events that will keep you locked with suspense and surprises through the book. Samantha has an artistic way of developing the characters and scenario to bring out a remarkable story. The characters in the story are easy to connect with and are detailed in description making it smooth for the reader to move along with them across the book. It is not an easy to solve mystery story thus be prepared to give it total concentration to murder in getting the fantastic taste of the book.

Murder in Amish Bakery is the third book in this Ettie Smith Amish Mysteries Series. The puzzle of a murder in a bakery comes up and happens to be discovered by Ettie in the cause of her soliciting help from her friend Ruth Fuller.

Ettie goes to her friend in the search for a solution to her bakery which is having a sinking issue, but while there she discovers that a man has been murdered in Ruth’s bakery. Ruth believes that the man was out to steal her recipe, but some facts do not add up to this such as the bible found in the dead man’s hands. However, a couple of people had suggested buying her recipe but she was not yielding to any of them thus the quick pick of this thought as to the murder in her bakery More things come up to build up the case among them the fact that the man owned vast amounts of money to many people in town.

To Ettie, a simple recipe could not be the cause of a murder, a lot more is involved, and she will uncover the purpose of this killing. The case brings onboard a number of suspects that could be related to the matter, and Ettie has to cross-examine each of this until the truth is found. The story develops with into some puzzles that are confusing, and slowly she passes each of them to get the murder and the intent of their actions.

Samantha creates a plot that is realistic and interesting for her readers. The twists and turns in the story make it engaging not forgetting the many questions and puzzles that develop in the storyline blending the past and the present meticulously.
