Karen Kelley is an American author of fiction. She resides in Texas with her husband and more than a few animals. She is a mother and a grandmother. She believes that you really can have it all.

Besides being an author, Karen has been working for the better part of a decade as part of an ambulance service that provides life support. She supposes that she feels the same way that her characters do when they are flooded with adrenaline in risky situations that become life or death scenarios!

Kelley has been in scenarios involving everything from accidents to tornadoes to hostage situations. She has been in a number of situations where shootings or stabbings occurred with the person that did them still on the loose. While she has moved on from that stage of her life, she does continue to work as a nurse part time at the hospital.

Karen always wanted to live a nomadic life, so she quit her job and she and her husband were able to sell their house and get some of the clutter out of their life. They then moved into their RV and have been making their way across the United States.

She writes constantly! When she is not busy doing that she’s hiking or walking along the beach. Even though it can be very solitary to write, she enjoys doing it and cannot imagine stopping. You can find her penning strong characters and handsome heroes and stories when she is not at the hospital in one of her many popular contemporary romance stories.

Karen Kelley is the creator and author of the Bachelor series of fiction. The series kicked off in 2000 with the publication of the first novel in the series, which is titled Bachelor Party. The second book came out in 2017 and the third novel came out in 2018. It is titled Thief of Hearts.

Being young means that you’re always doing something or having an interesting night planned when you’re not working. So Cassidy Jones is not really worrying about having hazy memories of what went on the night before. She can kind of recall that she was jumping out of a cardboard cake at a bachelor party, and something about a costume– the gigs that you’ll take in order to pay the bills.

After that, she doesn’t really remember. Maybe she had a drink, but all she knows is that right now she is in bed with someone that she shouldn’t be. Out of all the people in the world at that party to be laying next to, she really didn’t expect it to be the guy who was about to get married.

That was certainly a surprise. But she can see by looking at him and his deep blue eyes exactly how it may have happened. He does have a really nice physique and is gorgeous overall, but what about the rest of it? Maybe nothing happened between them, but it’s going to be tough for this guy to work out this situation if anything did happen. How is his future bride going to feel?

As for Blake, he has no idea what to think about the situation. Things get still worse when the woman that he’s supposed to get married to suddenly pops up into the picture. Blake has no recollection of the night before but suspects that his brother may have had something to do with it. Maybe he was the one who spiked the punch and made this wild night– and possible horrible mistake– happen.

Blake thinks that he loves his wife, but he had to admit to himself that a part of him was not happy. He’s usually just fine as he is, collected and always in control. He is the type to not indulge in alcohol and never loses his composure for any reason. This is so not like him!

Sure, a part of Blake thinks that his fiancée is just interested in getting married to someone that can provide for her. She might be a bit of a social climber and interested in the finer things in life, but who isn’t? When he looks at the red hair of the beautiful woman lying in his bed, he starts to get very confused.

It’s possible that this girl could be the one for him. She makes him feel totally different, and lights up his world with joy. And all after a few moments of knowing each other.
