She’s felt safe as hundreds of years passed by, and her immortality never came under threat once. Except for now. After a couple hundred years, you almost start to take your ability to live forever for granted– until it’s in danger of being taken from you.
Miriam is starting to consider her immortality as something that is now gone. Like so many other things, it is now of the past. Paul Ward is an agent for Interpol. He is one who is aware of vampires where so many others remain ignorant to their very existence. Paul has been on a mission for a very long time and has even had battles with the undead. He knows their nature and how to defeat them, but you can never be humble enough when it comes to taking on these infinite creatures.
Paul sees it as his duty to clear the land of these vampires. He not only knows their weaknesses, but he has their Book of Names, a sacred vampire book. But he knows that Miriam is not to be underestimated. She is his personal weakness, and if she gets the upper hand on him, the agent knows he’s going to be in trouble.
