Kathleen Y’Barbo is an author of fiction that also goes by the name of Kathleen Miller. She belongs to the Authors Guild and several other writing groups. She holds a BBA that she received from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. She also received a certification in the field of Paralegal studies.

She is the tenth out of a family that is ten generations of Texans, and has a daughter as well as three sons at home. Kathleen Y’Barbo first became a published author with his participation in the book Yellow Roses. Her first book of her own published is titled Justin Tempo and the Truth Squad. The book is designed for children.

She is the author of the Louisiana Brides series. The first book in this series is titled Bayou Fever. It came out in 2004. One year later, the sequel came out. It is titled Bayou Beginnings. There are six books in the series, ending with the sixth book, Wedded Bliss. It came out in 2007.

Bayou Fever is the first book in the Louisiana Brides series. When it comes to Angeline Breaux, she is a true lady of the south. She loves living in the bayou, and she also is in love with a person too. Jefferson Villare is her chosen man, but this individual is more focused on the idea of his dream to one day become a medical researcher. Will he ever notice her back?

It doesn’t even matter if Jefferson is her man of choice because her father has set her up to be married to another man. This candidate will be able to keep Angeline firmly in the bayou area. Jefferson doesn’t know what to think or do. Bayou Beginnings is the sequel in Kathleen Y’Barbo’s Louisiana Brides series. If you loved the first novel, then you’re certainly going to enjoy this southern charm story! Theophile Breaux may have an unusual name, but it is full of history and influenced by his ancestors. All that Theo wants in life is to see his father regain his strength and ultimately get back on his feet.

Theo is not only helping his father out, he is helping to renovate an old cabin. The cabin sits beside the bayou and his plan is to convert it into a school for the kids of Latagnier. Then, somewhat dramatically, his plan is to leave the area for good. But can converting this old place and bringing it back to life change the way that he feels? Or more importantly, can any young lady change how he feels?

Clothilde Trahan is a very pretty young woman and even though Theo thinks that he will be leaving the bayou after this, now he’s not so sure. This young woman is slowly working her way into his heart. Clothilde came to New Orleans for the purpose of enrolling in the teacher’s college and eventually having students. She’s finally gotten permission from her uncle to go to New Orleans and study, but now there appears to be a really good reason to stick around in the bayou.

Theo is practically standing her backyard and this man is certainly handsome. She can tell that he’s not the type to stick around long, and everything about his demeanor suggests that he will not be here for long. One last good deed and then Theo is going to be out of here for a while.

When Theo leaves town, he is going to be taking Clothilde’s heart along with him. She is falling for the only guy in town that doesn’t feel like sticking around for very long. Still, she cannot help the way that she feels. It’s only too bad that she wanted to go to New Orleans so bad because if she had known that this guy was coming along she might have never made those plans.

Clothilde cannot deny that she has very strong feelings for Theo. Who can blame her? This is a guy that stayed in town when he clearly didn’t want to just to help his dad. He’s someone who is building a school for children before he leaves. This young lady is smitten by this young man, and he’s just about the only person she knows besides herself that is leaving.

But what will happen to their love if Theo just up and leaves? The game of love can be confusing, but when it comes to matters of the heart, sometimes you just have to surrender to what you know to be true. Following your heart has never been so terrifying, but when it comes to true romance, sometimes you just have to go for it no matter what.
