Mark Wandrey is an American author who specializes in supernatural books. He currently lives in the rural area of Tennessee. Always interested in fantasy and other worlds, Mark has been creating new worlds and writing about them for a long time. He has written many short stories, he realized that he much preferred the form of the novel to the shorter stories. Ever since then, he’s been writing books and has not looked back.

Wandrey has had a number of interesting jobs and has spent a lot of time traveling the country and living in areas of the country that have provided him with a lot of memories and also experiences. He has channeled some of these experiences and put them into his stories in a way that readers find interesting and he does too!

He has written the Four Horseman series, which centers around Cartwright’s Cavaliers. This universe involves adventure, aliens, mercenaries, and more, all set a hundred years in the future where humanity belongs all of a sudden to a new galactic order. The Galactic Union is thousands of races deep and very serious and humanity must have something to trade in order to join and find its place, fighting to exist in a galaxy where the odds seem stacked against them.

He is the author of the Earth Song series, which consists of five books and starts with Overture published in 2011 and ends with Twilight Serenade, published in 2016. He has also written the stand-alone novel A Time to Die, published in 2016. He has also written a zombie apocalypse series called Turning Point, which involves the books A Time to Die and A Time to Run. Wandrey has also contributed to three books in the Revelations Cycle series and edited A Fistful of Credits with Chris Kennedy.

In the first book in the Earth Song series, Overture, a strange device shows up in the middle of Central Park. It is found by a homeless man who sees it arrive, and with the finding of this strange new artifact he of course instantly founds a cult. This cult has the belief that the device will serve as a portal to the promised land, but who is it from and why is it there?

While some people think that the device comes from divine origin and angels, others see it as a potentially dangerous device that could provide a way for ETs to come into Earth at the moment of peak vulnerability. Some people see it as a way that Earth could be compromised and others think it is a gift that is going to lead humanity to some incredible moment or revelation.

Mindy Patoy is an astronomer who has left her field in disgrace. Now working on the west coast in Portland, Oregon, she has just found out that there is a huge asteroid that is coming close to Earth. But when gossip and whispers of devices from aliens or above appearing and the gossip only getting stronger, she finds herself packing up and going to New York City. Once she gets there, she finds enemies and friends too on her search to find out what is going on.

When the portal opens, a band of soldiers works to shoot down the monstrous reptiles that come out. It turns out that the device is not something sent to help humanity, and the lizards want to create a place and a stronghold for the more that are coming. When humanity rises up against them, they realize that they need to resupply and they cannot retreat. The other problem is that there is an asteroid coming to the Earth. Not the best timing as humanity has to now deal with two threats.

N.Y.C. quickly becomes a war zone with the people fighting the reptiles coming through the portal. Now time is running out for everyone. Humanity must win this battle and keep the asteroid from taking out Earth along the way. The second book in the Earth Song series is called Sonata in Orionis. It deals with Earth five hundred years later when most of the planet has moved to another planet. Five centuries have gone by like the playing of a quiet sonata. As mankind adapts to this new world and begins to thrive, the few thousand people on the planet Bellatrix have become millions. Humanity is doing all right on this new planet that is about forty-five light years from Earth and it is taught to children in songs and history.

The Tog belong to the Galactic Concordia and are the ones who are responsible for the humans’ new home on Bellatrix. However, the aid they have provided comes with a debt owed to their continual existence. Nothing is free in the universe, even living, so humanity has trained a group of people called the Chosen to go forth into a galaxy hostile to them at the bidding of the Tog. The Chosen have the goal of paying the debt of humanity over the centuries.

Minu Alma is fifteen years old and the descendant of Mindy Harper. An intrigued young child, she wants to follow in the steps of her father and become one of the Chosen group. But going through the trials to become Chosen will be difficult, and when Minu learns that her father has gone into the galactic frontier and has not returned, and other species are starting to pay attention to the human race, she braces herself for trouble.

With hostile aliens on her tail, Minu must work to solve an ancient mystery and navigate worlds that are unknown to her.
