An American author of historical romances, the writer Cindi Myers has been writing for a number of years now for an ever eager and appreciative audience, largely due to her impressive and extensive backlog of work that spans back for years, with more and more continuing to discover her work every day. Knowing her audience well, she has gone on to become a master of her craft and a consummate professional, showing the skill of writer who is clearly confident and is at the peak of her career. Respected by both the critics and public alike, she has managed to attract global audience, managing to reach the top of the bestseller lists on numerous occasion.
Early and Personal Life
Born and raised in America she has always had a clear affinity for the written word and a strong passion for both reading and writing, with a definite love of literature. Taking in inspiration from the world around her, she has continually put herself into her work making it more genuine in the process, as she takes her own experiences and observations and uses them. Constantly honing and refining her craft throughout her formative years, she has always been focused on her craft, always keeping her eyes set on the end goal of becoming a writer full-time.
Writing from an early age, she kept progressing throughout her high-school education, as she would write stories to entertain both her and her friends. This gained her an enormous amount of popularity, especially during the eighth grade when she would, by her own volition, write a torrid western romance that would help her gain some level of positive attention. Over time her voice would then develop over the years that were to follow, creating a style and tone that was all entirely unique to her and what she had set out to achieve as an idiosyncratic author.
Previously working as a newspaper reporter she managed to gain a lot of experience over the years, as she worked at building her skills as an author. Going into work as a travel agent too, along with working as a medical clinic manager as well, she was able to gain a whole host of experiences that she could later feed back into her work. This not only gave her the experience and practice that she required, but it would also help to inform her and who she was as an author of modern contemporary literature.
Living in the mountains to the southwest of Denver in America, she continues to write to this very day, putting out her unique brand of romance on a regular and consistent basis for an ever eager audience of readers worldwide. Living with her husband and their two dogs, she also manages to take part in a number of other active outdoor pursuits as well, such as gardening, skiing, quilting and hiking, all of which feed back into both her and her work. With a lot more novels planned on the horizon, she will continue to write on into the foreseeable future, as it appears she has a lot more titles set to be released in the near future.
Writing Career
Also going under the pseudonyms of Cynthia Sterling and Cindy Myers, as well as her own name Cindi Myers, she has put out a vast range of work over the years. Getting her first novel sold back in 1997, she went on to get her debut fully published in 1999 with the release of her book ‘Patchwork Hearts’, which would introduce her to the literary scene under the name of Cynthia Sterling. This would also show her in the early stages of development, as it was a stand-alone novel set firmly within the mold of the western romance, as it also held a quilt-work pattern it as well.
Writing a number of franchises, she would become well known and equally well regarded for her popular series such as ‘Crested Butte, Colorado’, ‘Passionata’s Island’, ‘Men of Search Team Seven’ and ‘Ranger Brigade: Family Secrets’. These would continue over the years and, along with the various franchise’s written under her other pen-names, she would become a highly prolific and well known writer within her genre. Maintaining these series on regular basis, she has come to be one of the most consistent authors within her field, knowing and understanding her art-form well.
With her work being translated into a number of different languages worldwide, she has gone on to achieve a great level of global success over the years. Showing no signs of stopping anytime soon, her career grows from strength-to-strength, as she continues to write from her home near Denver in the mountain. Working as a speaker as well as making presentations, she is also a very big advocate for her craft, attending a number of events and passing on her skills to others, something that will carry on for some time to come.
Always A Bridesmaid
First brought out through the ‘Entangled Publishing: Indulgence’ publishing label, this was to be another standalone novel that came out later on in the career of Cindi Myers. Released on the 7th of April in 2012 it managed to provide more of what readers had now come to expect from her as an author of modern romance literature. That’s not to say that it doesn’t have a voice of its very own, as it provides a number of twists and turns along the way to keep the reader engaged right till the end.
Stephanie Ludlow has over two marriages behind her, along with being the bridesmaid on six occasions. Originally released through ‘Entangled: Indulgence’ publishing label once again, this was another romance novel that was brought out less than one year later from Cindi Myers. Whilst it has many of her now typical tropes and ideas, it also shows enough personality of its own to stand out from the rest of them and make its mark. Creating a sense of ambiance that is at once sensual and engaging and entertaining for the reader, keeping them on the edge of their seats right until the very end.
