Hi,
Great site !
Can you include Mary Alice Monroe ?
Thanks,
Gina
Hi Gina – we have her listed here: https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/mary-alice-monroe/
I would like to have a discussion with someone reading or have read J.D. Dobbs’s “in Death” series. I am interested in others’ ideas about Eve’s thoughts and behaviors. I would like to talk about the relationship with husband. There are no book clubs anymore. Zoom just isn’t the same.
I have read all of the “In Death” Series many times. I can almost recite them. Eve has changed a lot over the years. I think she has grown, as a person, many times over. Her relationship with Roark is something else. He is the backbone of the marriage. My opinion. Be glad to discuss more
I have read every one of J. b. Robb death books and love them all. They make you laugh and cry . She really did an amazing job on the books.
I am looking for another series like the the Death series. I have been through the Alex Cross, Quinn, Colson, women’s club, NYPD blue, private, Bosch and I Spencer.
Has anyone have any good choices to read next.
karin slaughter……….will trent series…….watch the tv show first……i picture trent as the guy who plays him on t,v……….
I really like the Will Trent series, but the TV show just does not meet the way I saw them in my head as I was listening to them.
I will continue the series.
Fern Michael’s has a great series Called the Sisterhood series. There are I think 34 books total the 5 more books called the men of the Sisterhood.
I read my first book called The Jury which is the 4th book of the series. I will now start searching for all the rest. 2001 – 2023. The men are from 2014-2019.
Kidrockcraz
Another good series is Jeffrey Dealers
Lincoln rhyme series
His first was Bone Collector. Might know the movie and had series of same name couple of years ago
How about leighton gage, James burke
Try the Alan Bradley series.
Robert Bryndza Karen Foster Series is a very nice suspense thriller series. Have al look!!
Regards
Have you tried the Louise Penny series of Inspector Gamache books? if you do, you need to start with the 1st title “StillLife”
I have read the majority of the “In Death” series as well as listened to the last few on audible. I prefer to listen to them on Audible. I love JDRobb!!! I wish she could write more than 2 a year. Any other authors you follow? I have a book of my favorite authors and the titles I have read. Oh, btw, I’m from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born and raised in New Iberia, Louisiana. RS
I love the JD Robb books and have reread everyone and wait for the next one. I love how the books allow the characters to grow with each new book.

Chicagoland Vampire Series by Chloe Neill
https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/chicagoland-vampires/
Christine Feehan Torpedo Ink Books
Thank you for these lists. It would be great to be able to filter a search of characters by using categories such as mystery, YA, children’s fiction, etc.
Thanks
Kristi
Yes that would be nice. Something like that is in the works but very far down the road unfortunately.
i know it doesn’t matter about the order much but what about the encyclopedia brown kids series ?
How about Robert Dugoni’s Charles Jenkins ?
Read a simple series at least 40 years ago, of a ‘mature’ woman who retired to a farm or country life, either in the British Isles or the Maritimes. Lost for the author or titles, can anyone recall any identifying details?
Could the author you are looking for be Rosamunde Pilcher? Shell Seekers, Winter Solstice, September, Coming Home, A Place Like Home, The Carousel…
You might also consider A New Kind of Country by Dorothy Gilman, the author of the Mrs. Pollifax novels. It was published in 1978 and is about her move to a small fishing village in Nova Scotia.
I’m looking for the 1st book of the Bone Island Trilogy. I checked the characters name and could not find David Beckett. Can someone help please?
Looking for the order of Tom Clancy books about Jack Ryan Jr. they don’t seem to be listed here.
Can anyone help me with the name???? I read a series of Fictional books while living in London in the early 1990’s all published before then, there was a least 8 books. It was a woman author and I think the main character was a nurse or a housewife but she goes to the Great Ormond street hospital. It was all very mundane and simple but I loved them. I think the books are set in WW2 or shortly there after. I think the author’s name was Carol or maybe that was the characters name.
Are you looking for Cherry Ames?
Please tell me the continuation book of Wilbur Smith’s Golden Lion. Thank you
Simon Gercais; Mike Walton series is needed.
I actually just finished adding that one to the database yesterday funnily enough, and scheduled it. It’s scheduled to be posted within the next couple weeks.
I just read a series in post apocalyptic fiction and I can’t remember the series name or author. A massive solar flare wiped out communications. Main characters are a grumpy old man, a veteran, a woman who runs an exotic dance place and hooks up with vet. Bunch of family added to their prepped farm or ranch. 2 genius twin teenagers who work on electronics for the ranch. The veteran brings in some friends from the service who are loaded for bear. Anyone have an idea?
N.C. Reed is the author.
Maigret? I think 113 books approx.
by Simenon
Eve Dallas?
Looking for the series that takes place in upper Michigan a man that owns some cabins it’s been a long time since I read this any help would be appreciated thank you
I believe that is the Alex McKnight series: https://www.bookseriesinorder.com/alex-mcknight/
Steve Hamilton’s Alex McKnight books.
I am trying to find the books that have characters that are veterans hired to work on a ranch. The main character is a women who’s father is abusive, but she is running the ranch and hiring the veterans. I am thinking the author is Linda Lael Miller, but I could be wrong.
I believe the author is Lindsay McKenna
I read a book called Profile Durango by Carla Cassidy and was wondering if there was a continuation of the story in another book?
I know it may be a long shot but I recall reading a book series about an old man from Korea (named Chun I think, and Im not sure but I think from North Korea) who used to travel with an American apprentice and they worked for the US Government. There were at least 100 books in the series. I believe it was set in the 70s. I am dying to read it again but can’t remember the name. Can anyone help?
The Destroyer Series by Warren Murphy & Richard Sapir:
Need help? I’m quite sure John Saul authored this book I read yrs. ago (forgot the title) about a mature dog found in the woods and adopted by a man who realizes that this dog has mystical powers and respected by other animals and has an understanding of human interaction. The dog is somewhat of a “god” in the animal kingdom. Would anyone know the title / author?
I remember that book! Dean Koontz maybe??
The Watchers by Dean Koontz
The Blood Trilogy has an intriguing cast of characters:
Blood Rising is about Matthew Brenner and Catherine Temple
Blood Emerald is about Richard Hiatt and Anna Curley
Blood Dragon is about Adam Lachlan and Willow Greer
Thank-you for the love and care you have given our books. We look forward to Blood Dragon debuting late June, 2018
Bibliofile mysteries
Where is Rose Gardner by Denis Grover Swank? Fabulous character, stories & author.
I am trying to find a series with the character Titus Bass ? It is a western I was thinking of William W. Johnstone but could not sort by charter.
Why didn’t you just do a Google search for Titus Bass?
Terry C. Johnston is the author of Titus Bass series
Just do a Google search for Titus Bass.
Some excellent authors to consider:
Allan Eskins, Christine Husom,
Nothing on the Raine Stockton dog mysteries series by Donna Ball?
How did Eve Dallas go from one author to a different one.
If you are referring to the “In Death” series featuring Lt. Eve Dallas, it has always been the same author. JD Robb and Nora Roberts are the same person.
I see no Harry Dresden listed here. 16 or 17 books, great fan base and character. Books 1 – 3 are not great but the series gets better and is excellent where it currently sits. Jim Butcher is the Author.
